Alabama White Sauce

This Alabama white sauce recipe is easy to make with a few basic pantry ingredients. Serve it with your favorite pulled pork sandwiches, crispy chicken wings, or grilled chicken for an extra tangy kick of flavor!

Ingredients

  • cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1-2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce *We used Cholula. Pick your favorite.
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until well combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  • Serve with your favorite grilled or smoked meats like chicken wings, pulled pork, etc.

Notes

  • Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
